With her background in product development and the desire to discover something that treats cancer, she started her research and soon came upon Rick Simpson. According to him, cannabis can cure cancer, which she believed was very highly unlikely. After speaking to her new scientist friend about this brand new concept, she was told to look into endocannabinoids.

“Well, I was blown away,” explains Price.

She had discovered that we actually have a system in our body called the endocannabinoid system which naturally produces molecules called endocannabinoids. This system was also known to completely blueprint the 83 cannabinoids known to exist in the plant itself at the time.

“There were too many co-incidences. I went down that rabbit-hole, quite frantically, just because of the impact my sister’s death had on our family. We were quite petrified as a family not knowing who would be next.”

She soon realised that medicinal cannabis is very good for our bodies.
